you realize that NFL tickets are really expensive. 85 quid doesn't sound bad if you can get them.

Be interested to see how much, Whats a NFL season 20 games? Soccer is 42 i believe... and we only get 90 mins of play in most league matches. - tho i guess you could argue you only get 60 mins of actual play.

NFL regular season is 16 games over 17 weeks. Season ticket holders generally get 8 home matches a season. If the team makes the playoffs, season ticket holders get priority for home matches. Here's one analysis of cost to attend a pro game in the states: www.businessinsider.com/nfl-mlb-nba-nhl-cost-2014-1I've always enjoy watching footy (nee soccer) more. It's always been more enjoyable to watch (less commercials), harder to score a goal, and I can live with a draw. The only comparable pro sports here is NHL (ice hockey) where goals tend to be harder to come by vs scores in NBA/MLB/NFL although they cater to the American hatred of draws with overtime/shootouts now and TV coverage has 2 commercial breaks per period. There was some article I recall saying something about the amount of action in each pro sports per hour of TV coverage and the NFL was like 11 minutes. Lots of wasted time waiting for the ball to be put into motion. Makes for lots of commercial opportunities which makes it the most expensive TV rights package out of all the pro sports in the states.

Wow, 11 mins... Thats madness. - US sports do seem a commercial fest to us over here. in the UK they don't play commercials during Soccer, games, but depending on the channel, you will get them at half time and stuff.
Also in the UK they are only allowed to show 12 mins of ads per hour. there is a lot of Talk during an NFL game, as they can't cut to ads as much as your TV channels do.
