Show 132 sees us sit down with Ted and Duncan, (not forgetting Lois!) where we recap their trip to the latest memorabilia show. Before we get to that to, we talk to Lois, who has just moved into her new house. Find out the names of her appliances and why she stuck her head in a washing machine! - no really, you must. Its Golden.

Twate? Twat? damn funny talkers. who names a xmas tree?
too many Home Alone movies? like saying there's too many Saw or Die Hard movies. FYI Die Hard possibly one of the better xmas movies of all time. Trading Places in the top 5. I'm gonna lean towards Bad Santa or Eyes Wide Shut.
Vegas travel tips: while your hotel will replenish some stuff, I find women have peculiar needs for certain brands (I've traveled with women that have a whole suitcase full of product when traveling). If it's not found readily in a strip drugstore (Walgreens and CVS being the big chains up and down the strip although there is Sephora, Bath and Body Works, and some high end cosmetic shops here and there), you may need to travel to a different store off strip to find your product (e.g., Walmart, Target, Sallys Beauty Supplies). Pack clothes for comfort. Good walking shoes (the march of death going from Mandalay Bay to Strat is like 5 miles one way, not including any wandering in between). Do not pack uncomfortable shoes that you will take off as the casinos do not look kindly on barefoot people getting their feet cut up on broken glass and other crap on the floor (flip flops/ballet slippers in your bag if you're going to go the fashionable route and need to swap). Swimwear (if you want to use the pool, get some sun, or go to a dayclub). Poolside, you can get larger towels. If your room is short towels, call housekeeping and request more (a modest tip to the delivery person is de rigueur). Make sure you have your passport with you (or a copy). Proving you are at least 21 years old is important (gambling, drinking) and there may be ways around the US income tax on gambling winnings (there's no city/state income tax in Las Vegas, but there is a sales tax on stuff you spend money on most of the time). Unless there's something you want to do away from the strip (Hoover Dam, Grand Canyon, Lake Mead, Valley of Fire, Red Rock, Mount Charleston, rural brothels, go somewhere else in the US), don't bother with rental cars. Most tour excursions include travel and its easy to grab a taxi or limo to get around (just don't hail them from the curb, not legal in Vegas). There's plenty of inexpensive/fun things to do in Vegas if you plan ahead. Just winging it tends to lead to expensive and/or disappointing experiences. Case in point: gambling: do you know the game? is it fun? is it fun losing $1000 within 15 minutes? while you may win money, most people lose money, the question is how slowly you lose it and it is entertaining while it's happening (free booze helps, some people love smoking while gambling/drinking)?
